Summer Recap

Since I was offline the majority of the summer, I thought I would put a little recap incase anyone was wondering how our summer went down. Honestly it was mostly uneventful haha. We were able to hang out with some friends and family, Spud and I made a trip to Chicago to celebrate our friend's birthday and just enjoyed the typical summer activities...so here are a few of my favorite shots from our summer of 2014 enjoy!

Our dear friends Bryan and Molly came back from Bolivia for a short while this summer...we were blessed to be able to spend time with them, get to know Cecilia a little more and spend time with our friend Becky as well.

After a few tears Uncle Bryan helped Gabe get his first front baby tooth out...as far as we know he was not traumatized by the situation...

The boys had fun finding the cicadas that only come around every 17 years. Tad still brings it up every time we go past the place we saw them...it was quite something to hear all of them!

Of course there were sprinklers and pools...

The traveling Vietnam war memorial came to town over the 4th so we checked that out, as well as seeing some fireworks...

I would say we were very blessed this summer, by friends,family,fun and unexpected blessings.
