Ok...so I received this award twice...the first almost 2 months ago (sorry Meggan). Obviously I'm on top of things, and then when I was nominated again I figured I should probably get this blog in the books! So what award am I speaking of? The Liebster award of course!! An award developed to help others discover new blogs and get some more readers for the little people of the blog world. The rules of this award consist of the following
This award is given to new or up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers...the award is then passed along to other bloggers in the same category to help spread the word and support one another.

Ok so since I was nominated twice you will be getting double the facts since I have not only one set of questions to answer but two. Don't you feel like you've won the lottery?! Anyway we will start with the 11 random facts... ok lets see if I can do this without freaking anyone out.
1. If I see any "Hallmark" type commercial-I'm crying.
2. I started teaching myself to crochet. I tried learning as a child but didn't stick with it. I've made a few scarves and am almost done with a baby blanket! (Small victories people)
3. I hate having a messy house, but it seems I hate cleaning it more.
4. If a rerun of Friends is on...I will be watching.
5. I'm horrible at time management-seriously.
6. I recently spent about 2 hours looking at old slides of people I didn't even know...I seriously felt like I knew them after I was done.
7. I'm a sucker for nostalgia...a trait in-which I contribute my hoarding tendencies.
8. I wish they still had the game show "Rock-n-Roll Jeopardy" (which was hosted by Jeff Probst!)...because I could totally win.
9. I wish I could play an instrument...it would be so handy!
10. I'm not a "chickflick" kind of gal...but I love me some Star Wars!
11.Most of my clothes in my closet are thrifted- I LOVE vintage clothes.

1. What is one habit you have that people don't know about?
I have to check the door several times before I leave-if I try and leave without doing it, I obsessively think about how the door probably isn't locked.
2. What are your blogging boundaries? What don't you talk about on your blog?
I'm actually a somewhat private person...I actually don't like to open up much about myself, because I've been burned pretty bad in the past. But on the other hand I can be quite blunt and transparent. I guess it just depends on the mood I'm in whether or not I have boundaries.
3. What is the most romantic thing you have ever experienced.
Um...I'm not one for "romantic" things per-say...and neither is my husband...but I think one of the most romantic things would be the trip that Spud planned for our 1st anniversary when he took me to an Art Museum. I was taking an art appreciation class that summer and loved it-and while he probably could care less he knew I would love it.
4. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Depends...minimum effort (not including not doing ANYTHING)...probably 5 minutes. If I do my hair probably 20.
5. What is one (material thing) you want but don't have?
either a new camera, or an i-pad haha
6. Where can someone find you on your day off?
if we are talking without kids- either sleeping, relaxing on the couch or at a thrift store.
7. What is the most frustrating part of your day?
MEAL TIME!! AHHHHH All of my boys (husband included) are SO picky....I dread thinking of what to make for them...and then trying to get them to eat it. BLAH! Especially my youngest right now...I seriously hate it.
8. What advice would you give to other bloggers?
hummm...I mean I don't feel I have any level of expertise on the blog front, but I guess I would say Keep it real, and be mindful of what you say and how it might affect others.
9. On a scale of one to ten-how would you rate how well you take care of yourself? 6 or 7?
10. What are your three biggest blessings
My ever growing relationship with Christ, My family, the fact that i've never had to know what it is to really be in need.
11. Quick! Your child's goldfish is dead! Do you just replace it without telling them? Or explain the after life to your child?
Probably explain to them life and death...I like to keep it real.

I was 3 years old and very vividly remember the day my uncle was killed...when my dad got the phone call...and going to his home in the aftermath...

probably anything if I knew I'd be great!!! haha

ok, so I used to be an avid reader of all things Nicolas Sparks...now not so much. Like I said-not big into romance and I mean most of his stories end with someone dying! After I was in a serious relationship there was no way I could read or watch anything like that anymore!!
6.What would you do if you had $1 million, but only an hour to spend it?
Pay off my debt!!! Seriously. (and get a new camera)
7.What is your dream job?
One where I could set my own schedule, bring my kids, have guaranteed pay and do something I love...still to be determined.
8.Do you believe in love at first sight?
On the significant other realm no...I believe in instant attraction, but not love. But I did love both my children with all my heart before I saw them-and even more when I did.
9.What did you want to grow up to be when you were a kid?
A Nurse like my mom
10.If you could change one thing about your wedding day, what would it be?
I've often gone over this in my mind...from many different aspects...but probably my main regret is not having Fred as one of Spud's groomsmen. I was SO incredibly selfish that I was only thinking of myself, and not how it would make him feel. (long story)
11. What is your idea of the perfect vacation?
Somewhere that has a lot of history- would love to visit Europe or Ireland.
